Mortimer Residences
Our Mortimer Residences provide accommodation to a high standard and allow our Service Users to experience an environment which has a home from home feel. The accommodation and facilities allow Service Users to maintain their independence, and our highly trained team will always encourage them to do so, however our Service Users and families know that help is always close to hand.
Nursing care is not provided however the community nurses are regular visitors and attend to our service users as and when needed.The accommodation provides something for everyone, 1 quiet lounge, which can be used for those seeking some quiet time, reading, jigsaws or an afternoon nap, the area also can be reserved for private dining, perhaps for a birthday gathering or family reunion.
We also have a large lounge where you can watch some television or take part in an activity, this lounge also gives you views of the garden through the conservatory. You can easily assess to the paved patio area through the conservatory where you can sit under the gazebo and enjoy the Hills of Shropshire and the stunning scenery.
Our Service Users have the option to dine in our large dining room where they can share a meal with others, enjoy some company and listen to some music. Our menu is constantly changing to meet requests and ensure a healthy balance is maintained.
Within the Mortimer residences you will also find a Family and Service Users kitchen this is located on the ground floor. Bathroom facilities are also abundant. There is a lift to both floors. Our grounds are wonderful and we ensure are easily accessible from within the Mortimer Residence, you will find 3 doors allow easy access into the gardens.
Residents bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and we encourage our Service Users to bring in items from home to help them settle into their new environment.
