Malvern Suites
Our Malvern Suites offer an environment which is adapted to the needs of our most vulnerable Service Users, promoting independence and stimulation within a safe environment. In order to ensure the highest quality of care the suites have a higher ratio of trained staff.We understand that caring for a loved family member with dementia can be a strain and we will provide you with as much support as possible. In order to provide you with the support you need we provide an excellent and highly trained team, we have close working relationships and full support of the community mental health services, GP’s and other Associated Specialists. This will ensure the progress of dementia is monitored constantly and reviewed effectively.
Within the home we also have a Family support group which encompasses Family members and Management, who will gladly help and support you and your relatives needs. Nursing care is not provided however the community nurses are regular visitors and attend to our service users as and when needed.
Activities and events are a daily occurrence within the Malvern Suite. Our dedicated Activities Co coordinator, Margaret, ensures that each Service User receives personal attention, with her aim to stimulate and engage the mind and body. This may be done on a one to one activity or within one of the many group activities. Where possible individual interests, hobbies and requests are organized.
Within the Malvern suites we have 2 large lounges both with spacious dining areas which lead into a conservatory area, we ensure that accessibility into these areas are easy for our service users. The views from the lounges and conservatory are splendid, overlooking the extensive gardens which then lead the eye to the distant Malvern Hills. Our grounds are fabulous too, and our Service Users are regularly assisted outside to sit and take in the spectacular scenery and fresh Shropshire air.
Residents bedrooms are furnished to a high standard and we encourage our Service Users to bring in items from home to help them settle into their new environment.
